Kaj Karlo is for people genuinely exploring marriage.
These Guidelines exist to preserve a serious, private and respectful environment.
1. Be here for the right reason
Kaj Karlo is not intended for:
- casual dating
- hookups
- follower-building
- unrelated advertising
Create a genuine profile.
Be honest about:
- who you are
- why you are using the app
No member is entitled to another person’s:
- interest
- reply
- meeting
- relationship
Respect somebody who decides not to continue.
Be genuine. Be serious. Be respectful.
2. Respect boundaries
Do not repeatedly contact somebody who has made it clear they do not want to continue.
The following are prohibited:
- harassment
- threats
- intimidation
- stalking
- sexual harassment
- coercion
- blackmail
- targeted hateful abuse
Do not shame or pressure somebody for:
- a preference
- family circumstance
- a decision to end contact
Serious off-platform conduct can still matter where it creates a genuine Kaj Karlo safety risk.
Use Block or Report where appropriate.
3. No scams or financial exploitation
Do not scam or financially exploit other members.
Do not invent emergencies to obtain money.
Do not promote:
- crypto schemes
- trading schemes
- investment schemes
- similar financial schemes
to members.
Do not request:
- passwords
- verification codes
- banking credentials
Do not:
- impersonate somebody
- fabricate credentials
- use Kaj Karlo primarily for commercial solicitation
A genuine gift between adults is not automatically prohibited, but nobody should be pressured or manipulated into providing money or value.
Serious fraud may lead to account action and, where appropriate, authority involvement.
4. Genuine profiles and photos
Your main photo should show you.
Do not use:
- a celebrity’s image
- somebody else’s image
- impersonation material
Do not use edits that materially mislead people about your appearance or identity.
Keep important profile facts truthful.
Suitable optional photos may show:
- lifestyle
- travel
- pets
Avoid identifiable third parties and children without permission.
Do not upload:
- pornography
- sexually explicit material
- graphic violence
- threatening imagery
- another person’s private information
Kaj Karlo may review profiles and photos.
This process is described as:
photo verification / profile-authenticity check
It is not a passport, government-ID or legal age-verification process.
5. Privacy
Do not expose, publish, sell or misuse another member’s private information.
Do not reveal another member’s:
- home address
- phone number
- workplace
- financial information
- private messages
without a legitimate reason or lawful authority.
Do not use screenshots to:
- humiliate
- threaten
- blackmail
- harass
- publicly shame
somebody.
Submitting relevant evidence privately to Kaj Karlo or a proper authority for a genuine safety reason is different from public exposure.
Do not scrape or harvest member data.
Be cautious about sharing your own sensitive information.
If someone trusted you with information privately, do not use that trust against them.
6. Reporting and blocking
Report serious:
- threatening
- fraudulent
- unsafe
- abusive
behaviour.
Respect blocks.
Do not bypass a block using:
- another account
- another number
- another person
Immediate danger should be handled through emergency services.
Kaj Karlo may request evidence when investigating.
Reporter identity should not ordinarily be disclosed to the reported member.
Kaj Karlo may:
- restrict
- suspend
- remove
- preserve evidence
- take another proportionate safety action
Serious criminal issues may be shared with authorities where appropriate and lawful.
Do not knowingly make false or malicious reports.
Reporting does not guarantee a particular outcome.
7. Meeting somebody
Take time before meeting.
Consider:
- a public place
- your own transport
- telling somebody you trust where you are
Cancel or leave if you feel uncomfortable.
Protect:
- your exact address
- identity documents
- financial information
- other sensitive information
Family involvement is optional.
Once communication moves off-platform, Kaj Karlo has less visibility.
A match, reconnect or meeting creates no obligation to continue.
In an emergency, contact emergency services.
8. Enforcement
Kaj Karlo may use proportionate measures including:
- warning
- required content change
- content removal
- feature restriction
- temporary suspension
- permanent removal
- another reasonable safety control
Serious conduct can justify immediate action.
Repeated conduct may be treated more seriously.
Ban evasion is prohibited.
A temporary restriction during an investigation is not a finding of guilt.
Kaj Karlo may withhold sensitive detail where disclosure could endanger:
- a reporter
- another person’s privacy
- an investigation
Where appropriate, Support may offer review.
Safety comes first.
9. Help protect the community
Use reports honestly.
Do not retaliate against somebody because they made a genuine report.
Do not misuse the report system simply because somebody:
- rejected you
- stopped replying
- ended contact
Support:

These Guidelines may evolve as Kaj Karlo and applicable law develop.
